For those of that don't know wajas had some downtime and unfortunately ended up having to do a rollback, so we got an apology package and some free upgrade time, so get yer butt over there if you haven't already!

I've decided that their will be a contest per breed.

Current Breed: Normals



Details/Rules:
contest will be for club mascots. There shall be one mascot for each breed.
You must make a 300x350 or 300x400(or anything that doesn't look bad scaled down but preferably taller than it is wide) picture of your waja that you are entering.

It can be anthro if you want, but I would prefer if it had a canine face instead of humanoid.

You must at lest have a simple background. (Ex:Colored and the a lighter square in the middle.)

You can enter for up to three breeds, but then one of your entries must be a paintball.

A paintball should have 10 or more markings with at lest 6 at 20 or more.

You must own or plan to create the waja you enter.

The winning entries will be added to the club gallery and will go through a fave deviation cycle. Each one will be up for about a month.

THE MEMBERS WILL BE VOTING!! (that mean you all need to remember to vote!!)

You can't vote for yourself.

Any media.


Prizes

First Place: The waja you entered becomes our normal breed mascot and a free commission by Valkr #45425

Second Place: A DWA Adoptable from

Third Place: A Tag by Valkr #45425

More places might come up.

Remember! It would be wonderful if people could donate waja/art for prizes!

What kind of prizes should be have?

-Every one can pay a entry fee and the money can go to the winners, but this is only good if alot of people enter.

-People can donate pretty low gen wajas. ( gen 2-8 )

-People can volunteer to make adoptables (runner up prizes) or commissions.

The trial of OWF is now running.
The OW-freaking-F

Low gen, high gens, low stats, wonderful stats, pretty, ugly, strong markings, paintballs( NOT ugly btw) None of these things mattered. No waja under 200k was safe last night as thousands were purchased and resold to the OWF. The OWF meant to strengthen the waja market has now become a plague. Now thousands of perfectly fine wajas are now unsellable, unownable and unbreedable. The users who are angry will stop selling. The money grubbing user will sell directly to OWF instead of real players. And newbies will have to struggle to get wajas at all. Some of you may think your getting rid of "ugly" paintballs or "mudds" and getting paid to do it. But you must remember some us LIKE paintballs and don't care about high gen.

I strongly advise pulling your wajas off sale until everything is settled.

Personally, when wajas puppies turn out like wajas I already own, I sell them, not to get rid of them, but because someone else could enjoy them. Wajas that were not inbred or ugly were bought and sold to the OWF high gen or low gen, this is what happened. my wajas were not super cheap either. They were at reasonable prices.

Frankly its very disappointing.

Now, I'm not saying we should get rid of the OWF but some things need to change.
If the OFW sold wajas that would be great. I would feel much better about it. I think they should program her to sell them. Or at lest not allow people to sell them to her until they have owned the waja for 5 months to prevent abuse. The names of the people who bought them and resold them do not appear on the past owners list. So I can't even block them. We should be able to see them and block them if we wish.

Welcome our 50th member!!! At this point I feel that the club is large enough for a contest. Any ideas would be helpful.
